UPS and FedEx has updated the peak surcharge and Peak Periods during the specified Peak Periods for the origins, destinations, and service levels and in the amounts set as below. Peak Surcharges apply in addition to all other applicable Charges.
Updated UPS ® Peak Surcharges
A.Peak Surcharge – Applied to shipments from China Mainland to the U.S.
A Peak Surcharge will apply to shipments originating from China Mainland to the U.S. until further notice for the Service Levels and Peak Periods set forth below. The Peak Surcharge for shipments to the U.S. will be applied as a rate per pound based upon the billable weight of the shipment.

B.Peak Surcharge – Applied to shipments from Hong Kong SAR to the U.S.
A Peak Surcharge will apply to shipments originating from Hong Kong SAR to the U.S. until further notice for the Service Levels and Peak Periods set forth below. The Peak Surcharge for shipments to the U.S. will be applied as a rate per pound based upon the billable weight of the shipment.

C.Peak Surcharge – Applied to shipments from Australia, New Zealand, and other Asia origins to the U.S.
A Peak Surcharge will apply to any shipment from Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand to the U.S. until further notice for the Service Levels and Peak Periods set forth below. The Peak Surcharge will be applied as a rate per pound based upon the billable weight of the shipment.

D.Peak Surcharge – Applied to shipments from Europe origins to the U.S. and North America
A Peak Surcharge will apply to any shipment from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or United Kingdom to the U.S. and North America until further notice for the Service Levels and Peak Periods set forth below. The Peak Surcharge will be applied as a rate per pound based upon the billable weight of the shipment.

E.Peak Surcharge – Applied to international shipments from all origins to all destinations (except shipments covered in Sections A-D above)
A Peak Surcharge will apply to any international shipment from all origins to all destinations, except shipments subject to the Peak Surcharges set forth in Sections A through D above, until further notice for the Service Levels and Peak Periods set forth below. The Peak Surcharge will be applied as a rate per pound based upon the billable weight of the shipment. Other Peak Surcharges applicable to certain international shipments are set forth in sections A, B, C, and D above.

F.Peak Surcharge – Applied to UPS®Air Residential, UPS®Ground Residential and UPS SurePost®Packages
A Peak Surcharge will apply to certain UPS Air Residential, UPS Ground Residential, and UPS SurePost packages, for all U.S. origins and destinations, for qualifying customers who, at any point during the Peak Period, ship more than 25,000 packages per week.3 The Peak Surcharge will apply in the amounts set forth below to the indicated service levels during the specified Peak Period:

G.Peak Surcharge – Other charges
A Peak Surcharge will apply to Large Packages, packages that are Over Maximum Limits, and packages that require Additional Handling, for qualifying customers who at any point during the Peak Period ship more than 1,000 packages per week or ship more than 10 packages per week that otherwise qualify for any of these Peak Surcharges. The Peak Surcharges set forth below will apply to all U.S. domestic, U.S. import, and U.S. export shipments, for all origins and destinations, in the amounts set forth below during the specified Peak Period.
H.Peak Surcharge – Applied to UPS® Ground Residential and UPS SurePost® Packages
A Peak Surcharge will apply to certain UPS Ground Residential6 and UPS SurePost packages, for all U.S. domestic shipments, for qualifying customers who have shipped more than 25,000 packages during any week following February 2020. The Peak Surcharge will apply in the amounts set forth below to the indicated service levels during the specified Peak Period.
I.Peak Surcharge – Applied to Additional Handling and Large Packages
A Peak Surcharge will apply to packages that require Additional Handling and Large Packages, for all U.S. domestic, U.S. import, and U.S. export shipments, for qualifying customers who have shipped more than 1,000 total packages, or more than 10 packages that require Additional Handling or Large Packages, during any week following February 2020. The Peak Surcharges will apply in the amounts set forth below during the specified Peak Period.

Peak — Residential Delivery Charge
Customers at the enterprise level who meet a certain volume threshold (as indicated below) will be charged a Peak — Residential Delivery Charge for packages shipped during Nov. 2, 2020–Jan.17, 2021. The scope of a customer's volume shall be determined by FedEx in its sole discretion. The Peak — Residential Delivery Charge will be assessed in addition to the customer’s Residential Delivery Charge. Any contracted discount or cap the customer may have on the Residential Delivery Charge will not apply to the Peak — Residential Delivery Charge. For invoicing purposes, this charge will be combined with the customer’s Residential Delivery Charge.
